Well, we’ve safely navigated our way through January 2009, and that means another set of fun filled back to back weekend conferences at “Resurrection” in Gatlinburg, TN. Thank you once again is in order for all the hyper hypo united Methodist crazies for making our 3rd year, the best yet! We had a lot of fun.
And for a change we even rented a cabin high up in the smoky mountains with a back deck and a hot-tub looking down on Gatlinburg, and the “Ober Gatlinburg” ski hill. (www.obergatlinburg.com) It was beautiful, and a nice reclusive and relaxing escape for us. The cabin also had wireless internet and HD TV, so was the furthest thing from “roughing it”. In any case, the one drawback was the world’s windiest road that led up to the cabin. After navigating it 10 times throughout the first weekend, we decided that our stomachs couldn’t handle it again, so we booked a hotel for the second weekend.
Anyways, all that said, it was a lot of fun. We then spent 5 days in Nashville in between the weekends, and had meetings with our manager, booking, and the label, as well as a few writing sessions thrown in the mix. Yes, it’s that time again…when we rev up our creative engines, and try our best to come up with something new. If all goes well, we will have a new record before the end of the year. But we’ll just have to wait and see…well, that’s all for now. We’re enjoying some long anticipated time off. Be blessed - Jon.

Gatlinburg, TN…
Hmm. What’s up with Gatlinburg? I should definitely go there because two of my most favourite bands (One of course is STARFIELD [who rocks my world] As usual…) and the rest of the many awesome music makers have been in this city this month.
I have heard that it is an awesome place to be and I think I should plan a trip to go there soon.
Anyhow, a new record from you guys is a prayer and a wish waiting to happen. I love your music. Forever. So I’ll be waiting!

You guys were absolutely awesome as usual at Resurrection this year. I can’t wait for the new CD! I’m always amazes me when artists write their own music. By the way, Jon, my friend is the one who told you that you look like Fred from Scooby Doo! lol

That’s great that you guys had fun out there! I bet the cabin was goregeous like you said. I can’t wait to see what you guys have in store for the new cd… I’ll be buying!

Resurrection was awesome this year!I’ve been going ever since you guys first came and you get better and better(also in johnson city).The speaker was amazing.But i hope you get to come again next year at least for the big 25th anniversery.
Oh and i cant wait for a new cd!maybe another cd release in johnson city?

It’s good to hear your having a great start to the new year. I’ve heard nothing but good things about Resurrection and wish I could have gone. Good luck on the album, every one so far has been amazing, so I doubt the next one will be anything less. I love the richness of you music, every word means something and it’s beautiful. You all are extremely gifted. Enjoy your time off with your families and friends and I hope to see you guys through New Jersey sometime soon.
